What if I told you that famed psychologist Carl Jung, whose theory of psychological types formed the basis of the popular Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), was an occultist who was in regular communication with a spirit guide (demon) named Philemon, who not only gave Jung his greatest insights for his theories, but also instructed him to abandon Christianity and proclaim a new religion?
What if I told you that Carl Jung was also alleged to have engaged in multiple affairs, was accused of starting a polygamy-friendly cult, and even allegedly encouraged his patients to have affairs?
What if I told you that occultist George Gurdjieff, founder of the popular Fourth Way (eventually becoming the Enneagram of Personality), not only engaged in various occult practices, but was alleged to be a serial womanizer who believed that semen was “magical,” all while allegedly seducing girls (some of whom allegedly committed suicide afterwards) into sexual encounters in order to “help them” (Warning: source of allegations is very graphic and long, so I suggest using CTRL + F to open the search function on your browser and typing ‘Gurdjieff,’ if you must read it).
What if I told you that most of today’s popular personality theories contain elements of occultism, Gnosticism, Satanism, or pseudoscience, yet are cleverly promoted in businesses and schools worldwide as scientific “tools” designed to help you “know thyself,” become a more balanced individual, address your strengths and weaknesses, and so forth?
Would you think I was crazy if I told you those things? If so, its time for you to meet the founders behind your favorite personality theories! You’re about to learn that there’s a little more to these theories than meets the eye.
“Knowing thyself” sounds so good, reasonable, and scientific on the surface, doesn’t it? Who wouldn’t want to understand how to be a better person, more balanced, more successful, etc? Nevertheless, that same phrase has been the mantra of occultists and Satanists for thousands of years. For example, Aleister Crowley, a Satanist / occultist who allegedly performed one of his first “sex magic” acts by sodomizing a boy, once said the following:
“This serpent, SATAN, is not the enemy of Man, but He who made Gods of our race, knowing Good and Evil; He bade ‘Know Thyself!’ and taught Initiation.”

After running a YouTube channel that promoted typology for nearly two years, I’ve come to realize the emptiness and insanity of it all. Not only is typology worthless, but it’s also extremely seductive, addictive, deceptive, and dangerous. I now hope to educate as many people as possible about the true roots of the very popular personality systems we encounter today, before they get sucked into the cycle of trying to improve self, understand self, and understand others.
This page contains links to resources that will expose typology for what it really is: foolish nonsense that often has roots in occultism, Satanism, astrology, and pseudoscience.
Please note that some of the links on this page will lead to pages on occult websites or articles written by various religious groups (or even atheists). I do not necessarily endorse or agree with the views expressed on any linked pages (or documentaries) that I mention on this website, but they are posted for research purposes or to illustrate a point, so please use discernment and discretion while reading.
